Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases, hires, bookings, subscriptions and digital products supplied by Karaoke Ireland through our websites or directly by us. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under Irish or European Union consumer law.
Orders and Contract Formation
When we receive an order, this confirms that we have received your request to purchase. It does not necessarily mean that we have accepted the order.
A contract is formed when we accept the order, for example by issuing an invoice, confirming fulfilment or dispatching the goods.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where a product is unavailable, an obvious pricing or description error has occurred, payment cannot be processed, or we are otherwise unable to fulfil the order. If payment has already been taken, the appropriate amount will be refunded.
If an incorrect price has been displayed, we may contact you before accepting the order to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price.
Prices, VAT and Payment
Prices are displayed in euro unless otherwise stated. Applicable VAT is included or charged as indicated at the time of purchase.
Delivery charges and any other applicable charges will be displayed before an online order is completed.
Where VAT treatment differs because of the customer’s location or status, the appropriate VAT rules in force at the time of the transaction will apply.
Payment must be successfully completed in accordance with the agreed payment terms before goods are dispatched unless credit or other payment arrangements have been agreed by Karaoke Ireland.
All goods remain the property of Karaoke Ireland until paid for in full.
Discounts and Special Offers
From time to time, Karaoke Ireland may offer promotional prices, discounts or special offers.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, offers apply only to qualifying products or services and cannot be combined with another discount or offer.
Promotional offers may be restricted to new orders or bookings and cannot normally be applied retrospectively to an existing order or booking.
We reserve the right to amend or withdraw promotional offers at any time before an order or booking has been accepted.
Product Information and Availability
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, availability and prices are accurate.
Product photographs are for illustration purposes and packaging, colour or appearance may occasionally differ from the image displayed.
All products are subject to availability.
Where equipment is described as used, ex-demonstration, refurbished or otherwise not new, this will be indicated in the relevant product description.
Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as reasonably possible. Any delivery dates or times given are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.
Karaoke Ireland is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, but this does not affect any statutory rights available to the customer.

Returns and Cancellation of Online Purchases
Where applicable, consumers purchasing online may have a statutory right to cancel their purchase within the legally prescribed cancellation period.
Eligible goods must be returned in accordance with our Delivery & Returns Policy.
Customers are responsible for the direct cost of returning change-of-mind goods unless otherwise required by law or agreed by Karaoke Ireland.
This cancellation right is subject to the statutory exceptions described below.
Karaoke Discs and Sealed Media
Please ensure that you have ordered the correct karaoke disc before opening its packaging.
Karaoke discs and other sealed audio or video media are non-returnable and non-refundable for change-of-mind purposes once the original sealed packaging has been opened or unsealed.
Where the original seal remains intact, any applicable statutory cancellation rights continue to apply.
This restriction does not affect your statutory rights where a disc or other product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
If goods arrive faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or are not as described, please contact Karaoke Ireland as soon as reasonably possible.
Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, an appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Irish or European Union consumer law.
Digital Downloads
Where Karaoke Ireland offers digital downloads, the product description will specify the applicable file format and any relevant compatibility requirements.
Customers are responsible for checking that their equipment or software supports the stated format before purchasing.
Where a customer expressly requests immediate access to digital content and acknowledges the consequent loss of any applicable statutory cancellation right once supply begins, the customer may lose the right to cancel that digital purchase after downloading, streaming or otherwise accessing the content.
Digital products are non-refundable for change-of-mind purposes once supply has commenced where the applicable legal requirements for loss of the cancellation right have been satisfied.
Nothing in this section affects statutory rights where digital content is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to comply with applicable consumer law.
Subscriptions
Where subscription products or services are offered, the applicable price, frequency, minimum commitment (if any), renewal arrangements and other material conditions will be displayed before purchase.
By purchasing a subscription, the customer agrees to the subscription terms presented at the time of purchase.
Where advance notice is required to cancel or alter a subscription, this will be stated as part of the applicable subscription offer.
Any statutory cancellation rights remain unaffected.
Karaoke Hire, DJ and Presenter Bookings
A booking is not confirmed until the required booking deposit has been received and Karaoke Ireland has confirmed acceptance of the booking.
Booking deposits are non-refundable, subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Customers should therefore ensure that the event date and booking details are correct before paying a deposit.
Requests to change a booking date will be accommodated where reasonably possible and subject to availability. A change of date is not guaranteed.
Unless different cancellation terms have been expressly agreed for a particular booking:
- cancellation more than 7 days before the event may incur a charge of up to 25% of the agreed booking fee;
- cancellation within 7 days of the event may incur a charge of up to 50% of the agreed booking fee, or such higher amount as reasonably reflects costs already incurred and services reserved;
- the booking deposit remains non-refundable, subject always to applicable consumer law.
Where specific cancellation terms are provided with a quotation or booking confirmation, those specific terms will apply to that booking.
Hire Offers and Promotions
Special offers relating to karaoke hire normally apply to new bookings only unless otherwise stated.
Only one promotional offer or discount may be used per booking unless Karaoke Ireland expressly agrees otherwise.
An offer cannot normally be applied retrospectively to an existing confirmed booking.
Hired Equipment
Where Karaoke Ireland supplies equipment on hire, the customer is responsible for taking reasonable care of the equipment while it is in their possession or control.
Equipment must not be deliberately damaged, misused, altered or used contrary to any instructions supplied.
The customer may be responsible for loss or damage caused by misuse, negligence or failure to take reasonable care, subject to applicable law and the specific terms of the hire agreement.
Ownership of hired equipment remains with Karaoke Ireland at all times.
Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control
Karaoke Ireland will not be responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, transport disruption, industrial disputes, failures of communications or utility networks, fire, flood, accident or other comparable events.
Where such circumstances affect an order, hire or booking, we will make reasonable efforts to minimise disruption and communicate with the customer.
Nothing in this section removes any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.
To the extent permitted by law, Karaoke Ireland will not be responsible for indirect or consequential business losses arising from a consumer transaction.
Customers purchasing in the course of a business should contact us if they require specific commercial terms.
Import and Export
Customers ordering goods for delivery outside Ireland are responsible for complying with applicable local import, customs and other legal requirements.
Additional taxes, duties or charges imposed by authorities outside Ireland may be payable by the recipient unless otherwise stated.
Privacy and Cookies
Personal information is handled in accordance with our separate Privacy Policy.
Our online shop uses cookies and similar technologies required to operate features such as the shopping basket, checkout and customer accounts. Other cookies may be used where applicable and subject to the appropriate consent requirements.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our products, services, business practices or legal requirements.
The terms applicable to an order or booking will generally be those in effect when that order or booking is accepted, unless otherwise required by law.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland.
